Recent Gua Hotels Vale Da Review: "This is the 3rd time we have stayed at Vale da Lapa. Super villas and only a few minutes from Carvoeiro and ten minutes to Silves, very high spec accommodation, modern and very comfortable, everything you need. As much as it is on a complex you have your own privacy but with the added benefit of breakfast, hotel style. I like the garden view best. My  only grumbles would be that the pool does not open until 10am which if you wanted a swim before breakfast you cant (breakfast is served until 10am) this would then free the rest of the day up. Also when the hotel first opened we had wifi in the villa, but now it is only available in the reception area by typing in a code. This should really be standard in a 5 star resort. Otherwise, highly recommend and will probably be staying again next month."
